At EWS as well as designing products direct to customer requirement, we continually work to advance the science and technology behind our manufacturing processes. This has resulted in many product innovations, including corrugated steel reinforcement sections. These use a fraction of the metal required in traditional alternatives, but with NO degradation in strength or quality.
Before going to manufacture all products are tested and proved at our technical centre to ensure "right first time" results.
- Laserform Supaseal Spacer Tube
- Laser Welded Spacer Tube is produced exclusively in Wolverhampton, England by EWS (Manufacturing) Ltd. Our expertise and experience in this field is second to none and extensive state of the art technology has ensured that EWS Ltd remains in the forefront of spacer tube supply to the United Kingdom and European Insulated Glass Industries.
- There are ten different widths of tube available. The tube is produced in Aluminium Alloy to BS EN 573-3:2003 in a variety of finishes including: Mill Finish, Clear Satin Anodised, Bronze, Gold and Black Anodised and is available in standard lengths of 4, 5 or 6 metres. Other length sizes are available on request.
- EWS Ltd have also designed and perfected a tube suitable for use on automatic bending lines. This tube is available in identical dimensions and sizes to our standard tube and meets the more stringent requirements of customers using this particular manufacturing process.
- A range of nylon and steel corner keys is available to suit all sizes including straight keys for bending lines.
- Tube is manufactured under a quality system approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and is also suitable for use in units kite marked to BS EN 1279.
